Parentpower: What Parents Need to Know to Keep Kids Safe

Kidpower’s exceptional track record shows that the boundary setting, advocacy, and personal safety skills children practice and the confidence they can develop in acquiring these skills are relevant and useful in many aspects of their lives. In this online workshop, parents will learn how to coach children in a fun, age-appropriate fashion in practicing skills such as these:

  • Be and act aware

  • Follow basic stranger safety rules

  • Be persistent in getting help from busy adults

  • Set appropriate boundaries respectfully with people they know

  • Take charge to stop bullying

  • Use the power of their voices and their bodies to be safe.
